For how long is the prize promotion running?
The Main Promotion Period starts at 00:00 on Monday 27th April 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Monday 22nd June 2026.
There is also a Late Entry Promotion Period for all entries received between 00:00 on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 and 23:59 on Friday 31st July 2026.
Who can enter and what age do you need to be?
This promotion is open to residents of the UK (England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland) who are 18 years old or older.
Do I need to make a purchase to enter?
Yes, there is a purchase requirement to enter the prize promotion. To enter you must purchase a 50cl bottle of either Sierra Tequila Blanco or Sierra Tequila Reposado in a Tesco store or online at Tesco.com during either the Main Promotion or Late Entry Promotion Period.

I do not live in the UK; can I still enter?
Sorry, if you do not live in the UK, you cannot enter the promotion. It is running in the UK only, and open to people living in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

ENTRY DETAILS
How do I enter?
Buy a 50cl bottle of either Sierra Tequila Blanco or Sierra Tequila Reposado in a Tesco store or online at Tesco.com during the Main Promotion Period or Late Entry Promotion Period. Please keep hold of your Tesco receipt that shows the product you’ve purchased as well as the date of purchase.
Go to sierramexico.co.uk and provide your first name, surname, postcode, email address and phone number. You’ll also need to input the 8-digit unique code on the neck collar of the Sierra Tequila bottle.
Please note you will only be eligible to for the chance to win a trip to Mexico if you enter during the Main Promotion Period which opens on Monday 27th April 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Monday 22nd June 2026.
Where can I find my unique code?
The unique code is on the reverse of the neck collar around Tesco promotional bottles of Sierra Tequila Blanco and Sierra Tequila Reposado.
How often can I enter the prize promotion?
You can enter once during the Main Promotion Period and once during the Late Entry Promotion Period.
Why do you need my contact details when I enter the promotion?
If you are the lucky winner, we will contact you via the email address to notify you of your win.
If you are a Main Promotion Period runner-up or Late Entry Winner, we will send your £100 Tesco e-Gift Card prize to the email address that you used to at the point of entry.
Please be careful when entering your details and make sure they are correct. The last thing you want when you win is to have your prize delayed.
What happens to the details I provide?
Your information is stored securely and only used by our third-party suppliers for the purpose of this promotion and for prize fulfilment.
All details will be securely deleted 6 months after the end of the Late Entry Promotion Period). Your information will be used and held in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available here
PRIZES
What prizes are you giving away?
During the Main Promotion Period, there is one first prize of a holiday to Mexico plus £500 spending money. There are 45 runner-up prizes, each a £100 Tesco e-gift card
At the end of the Late Entry Promotion Period, we are giving away 5 Late Entry prizes, each a £100 Tesco e-Gift Card.
What does the prize to Mexico include?
The prize is a 7-night 4* in Cancun, Mexico for 2 adults (18+). The winner and guest will be sharing a double room, on a bed and breakfast basis. The prize includes return economy direct/indirect flights from a UK airport, private airport-hotel transfers in Mexico, travel insurance and Visitax fees. The prize also includes £500 spending money which will be paid into the winner’s UK sterling bank account, seven days before travel.
When can the trip to Mexico be taken?
The Trip to Mexico must be booked within 12 months and taken within 18 months of prize acceptance and is subject to availability at the time of booking. The trip cannot be taken on the following dates 23.7.26 – 3.9.26, 15.12.26 – 5.1.27, 13 – 14.2.27, 26.3.27 – 12.4.27, 23.7.27 – 6.9.27, 15.12.27 – 5.1.28, and all UK/Mexico bank holiday weekends.
Does my guest for the trip to Mexico have to be over 18 years old?
Yes, both winner and guest must be over 18 years old.
How are the Main Promotion and Late Entry Promotion prizes won?
The Main Promotion Period winner and runners-up will be drawn using a random number generator after the Main Promotion Period closing date. The first entrant drawn that meets the entry criteria will win the trip to Mexico. The next 45 entrants that meet the entry criteria will each win a Runner-up prize.
The Late Entry Promotion winners will be drawn using a random number generator after the Late Entry Promotion period closing date. The first 5 entrants that meet the entry criteria will each win a Late Entry prize.
How will you notify me if I win a prize during the Main Promotion or Late Entry Promotion?
The Main Promotion Winner and Runners-up will be notified via email within 28 working days of the Main Promotion Period Closing Date. The winner and runners-up will each have 14 days to provide proof of age and ID to claim their prize.
The Late Entry Draw Winners will be notified via email within 28 working days of the Late Entry Draw Closing Date and will each have 14 days to provide proof of age and ID to claim their prize.
Please note we can only send and receive emails to and from the address given at the point of entry.
How many times can I win?
A household can win a maximum of 1 prize during the Main Promotion and one further prize in the Late Entry Promotion.
What are the next steps if I receive a winning email?
If you are the lucky winner of the trip to Mexico, you will have 14 days to claim your prize by replying to the email and provide proof of age and ID. You will then need to book the trip within 12 months.
If you receive a winning email for the £100 Tesco e-Gift Card, you will be required to claim your prize by replying to the email and provide proof of age and ID. Each £100 Tesco e-Gift Card winner has 14 days to claim their prize by return email. We’ll then email the e-Gift Card within 28 working days of the claim.
